Hello there. I am Teagan Scott, the founder of the Verbum Amoris blog and verbumamoris.com proofreading services. I am a mom of two wonderful kids, a lover of books, and a creative free spirit. I worked in the service industry for years, but as my kids got older I started to pursue my dreams and goals. I got into the indie-film scene and worked as a set decorator on three films, which got me my own IMDB page. I had more work lined up, but in 2020—what a year that was—I got into a car accident that completely changed my life. It has been a long road towards recovery, and I have had to approach my goals from a new angle. In 2022 I got back into writing, completed a proofreading course, and jumped into the freelance market.
